Meet our Management Team

With over a combined 120 years of experience, USI's Management Team is known for establishing close, trusting client relationships, and for providing innovative solutions to complex security concerns.

George Guilfory – Principal

For 30 years, George has been a leader in the New England Security Market. From his first 12 years in proprietary Healthcare Security where he served as the Chairman of the Boston Chapter of IAHSS to recently, when he served as the Chairman of the Boston Chapter of ASIS International, George has always given back to the industry. As an Owner of USI, George offers our customers an exceptional level of experience and a distinguished record of accomplishment.

Frank J. Consoli II – Principal

After receiving his B.A. in Criminal Justice from St. Anselm College and working on his MBA from Sacred Heart University, Frank embarked on his security career in the private sector as a District Manager. From there, he took several promotions within the industry, which lead him to his most recent position as Vice President/ General Manager of a 90M security division for a national company. Frank is that rare breed of ability, desire and humility and as a Owner of USI, Frank will continue to set the mark within the industry.

James J. Joly – Principal

With 20 years of solid experience and 200M in security sales, Jim's proudest moment in his career was being asked to deliver the "State of the Industry Response to 9/11" at the National Conference of the International Council of Shopping Center (ICSC). As a life long Sales and Marketing Professional, Jim has always espoused Service as the only true measure of success. Service to your employees; Service to your clients, and Service to your community. As Owner of USI, Service is what Jim brings to the organization and to our customers.

Christine Gelatt – CPA - Chief Financial Officer

As a Founding Partner of USI, Christine has been instrumental in the company's success since our inception in 1992.  As CFO, Christine has directed the growth of the organization and provided our customers with the assurance of knowing that USI's back-office operations were running smoothly.  Christine provides the fiduciary oversight necessary to facilitate USI's growth while remaining true to its partnership pledges.

Carmine Aquila – Director, Government Services

Carmine brings a distinguished record of accomplishment as a NYPD Retiree and a 20+ year security professional in the government services sector.  Prior to USI, Carmine was a Senior Regional Vice President with one of the largest security companies servicing the U.S. government.  The firm provided $40 M in guard services and Carmine was responsible for a third of the total business. Carmine is one of the most respected names in the industry and his reputation for customer service is legendary.

Gary P. Hawkett – Regional Vice President, Operations

Gary's experience spans over thirty (30) years and includes both Public and Private Security Services.  He began his career with Scotland Yard, UK in 1980 and for the past eighteen (18) years, he has worked for several National Security companies serving in a number of Senior Executive positions overseeing revenues of $90 million. Gary's focus on Customer Service and Employee Development helps distinguish USI's approach and operations.

Richard Armao – Vice President,
Government Services

In his role as Vice President, Government Services, Richard has provided the day-to-day management oversight of the Government Services Division.  Richard brings the resources that 20 years on the job can provide, and he prides himself on having established a personal relationship with every security professional under his command.
